After many months (or should I say years?) of planning, Shawn and Erin were united in marriage at the Sheraton Keauhou in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. The wedding was perfect - more beautiful than we could have hoped! The turnout was fantastic - thanks to all for helping to celebrate this very special occasion! Sharon finally meets her biological sister after sixty one years! Sharon knew she had an older sister that had been put up for adoption but had no idea where to start looking. Armed only with her parents' names and approximate year of her sister's birth, and after several futile attempts at finding vital records, we posted an inquiry on our website.

Several months later we received an email from Chris who wrote that the names posted on our website were her birth parents. Chris was searching for information on her parents and didn't even realize she had a biological sister! Needless to say, we had an exciting "family reunion", and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Sharon's and Chris's lives! Who knows, maybe we can find more long lost siblings (or cousins)!

Sharon, Rich, George and Jan drove down to see the fall festival at the Bridgeport covered bridge - South Yuba River State Park in Penn Valley. There were wagon rides, music, food, history of the gold rush days, and more.

Shawn and Erin took Ireland to the pumpkin patch twice and Ireland just loved it! Then on Halloween, Ireland dressed up as Alice in Wonderland and went "Trick or Treating". Shawn and Erin also did a little "Trick or Treating" as Elvis and Madonna at a friend's house for a Halloween party. You look great Elvis, but where are your "Blue Suede Shoes"?
